Charles Hicks

Charles has vast experience as Code Enforcement Officer from many different forms local government.  He was instrumental when implementing the “Rental Code” here in the Town of Perryville, the first of its kind in the area.  Charles has trained in ICC Property Management related fields; IRC (International Residential Code), IBC (International Building Code), BOCA (Building Officials & Code Administrators)-Basic Property Maintenance Code Earned, IFC (International Fire Code).  He has fifteen plus years of professional management experience covering multiple states.  In addition, he earned Cecil College Division of Career & Community Education certificate in continuing education for Managing Volunteers.  Prior nominee for Cecil County Volunteer of the Year.  Experience as Cecil County election Judge.  Finally, Charles served as a Town Commissioner of Elkton for two terms.
