Incorporated in 1882, the Town of Perryville in Cecil County, Maryland offers a wide variety of services. The Town currently has over 3,670 residents and is the second largest town in Cecil County. The Town of Perryville is governed by a Mayor and four Commissioners. The Mayor and Commissioners are responsible for the operation of the Town.
As an incorporated town, Perryville has its own set of regulations to follow for development and maintenance within the Town. All building structures such as new homes, additions, sheds, decks, pools and fences require a Zoning Certificate from the Town Office. In cases where a County Building Permit is required, you must first acquire a Town Zoning Certificate and then the County Building Permit. Cecil County is in charge of the inspection of the buildings and follows the most recent BOCA Building Codes.

Trash and Recycle Pick-Up

(Please display in a convenient place as a reminder.)

·        Regular trash pick-up is on Mondays.

·        Recycle and Yard Waste will be collected on THURSDAY

See Schedule Below.

There has been a misconception among some Town residents that since all recyclables were put into the same truck by the TriState crew that the Town was not recycling.  However, even though the Cecil County Landfill only recently went with single-stream recycling, the Town’s contractor, TriState Waste, has been taking our recyclables to a facility that does single stream recycling and will continue to do so. The following Holidays will cause the pick up to be a day behind on anything after the holiday.  The holidays included are New Years Day, and Memorial Day.
